I hesitate to reply to ads from women who seem hip and normal, but then express how they don't really go to bars, or do go to bars but don't get out of control.

Sometimes, i get out of control. Not in an every-weekend wasted-puking-mess-of-space way, but i like to let loose, dance my face off, smoke a bunch of cigarettes and act like a responsible fool. Then I nurse my morning-after throat-and-head ache with brunch and a movie. Having fun makes going back to work easier. Don't get me wrong, I like to read, get coffee, play games and all of that other wholesome stuff. But sometimes, I get fucking wasted. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe I'm immature or need to grow up, but I am in my mid-twenties and want to have a great time whenever possible.

I don't think I'm alone- and I also think other women shouldn't feel like they have to say "i don't hang out at bars a lot" for fear of sounding like an alcoholic or otherwise unstable person. Embrace it. You're alive.
